The patent pending A604 Electrical Connector allows you to use a pre-1999 model A604 transmission in your late 1999 and newer minivan, or any other vehicle using the A604 transmission without, cutting, spicing, drilling or replacing anything. With this single transition part you are converting the existing 9 pin round connector to the required 9 pin flat connector.
Sometime in 1999 the OEM (manufacturer) changed the PRNDL electrical connector from a 9 pin round connector to a 9 pin flat connector. The A604 Electrical Connector allows you to use the plentiful "round pin" transmissions in your late model vehicle.
Before the availability of the A604 Electrical Connector, the only options were to modify, cut, and/or splice the wires of the pre-1999. This approach reduces potential problems.
The A604 Electrical Connector is manufactured in the USA with all new components, it meets or exceeds the standards of the automobile OEM (manufacturer).
The A604-1 is a round pin to square hole plug-in adaptor that connects old transmissions to new vehicles, making installation of a pre-1999 A604 transmission into any post 1999 vehicle easy. The connector converts the orginal round pin connector to a flat connector that will fits the wiring harness of post 1999 vehicles.
